Protesters kneeling on the street, wearing face masks, holding signs and raising fists. One person holds a sign that reads 'I CAN'T BREATH' and others carry signs supporting the Black Lives Matter movement. The crowd is diverse, with urban buildings and trees visible in the background.

The TLC Anti-Racism and Reconciliation Coalition exists to equip The Local Church to take an active stand against racism through education, prayer, confession, and action within and beyond our community — boldly speaking against injustice, and being intentional in our commitment to be with and for all of God’s beloved.

Our anti-racism work follows a quarterly rhythm rooted in the ARC framework from Jemar Tisby’s How To Fight Racism. Each quarter, we spend one month focusing on awareness, one month focusing on relationships, and one month focusing on commitments.
